The Good Samaritan: Seeing her stranded, a 39-year-old man driving a Honda Fit pulled over to assist. He parked his car roughly one car length south of the Camry.

The Critical Impact: Moments later, a 25-year-old man driving a Saab 9-3 southbound approached a slower-moving vehicle in front of him. The driver of the Saab changed lanes to pass, but failed to see the stationary Camry in time and slammed directly into its rear.

The Secondary Crash: The immense force of the high-speed rear-end collision propelled the Camry forward, causing it to violently crash into the back of the Good Samaritan’s parked Honda Fit.

The Stranded Driver: The woman inside the Toyota Camry sustained catastrophic, fatal injuries from the sequential impacts. Emergency first responders arrived on the scene shortly after the crash, but she was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.
