Crash Synopsis
According to the initial investigation by state troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Circleville Post:

The Collision: A 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, driven by Kenneth Boyce, was traveling westbound on Kingston Adelphi Road. At the same time, a 2023 CAN-AM Spyder three-wheeled motorcycle, operated by Elick, was traveling southbound on State Route 159.

The Cause: Investigators determined that Boyce failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign controlling County Road 1. The pickup truck proceeded into the intersection and struck the oncoming CAN-AM Spyder.

The Impact: The force of the crash violently threw both Elick and Sims from the motorcycle. The pickup truck then careened off the side of the road. Boyce did not report any major injuries.
