The announcement was made this afternoon by Orkla and the PR agency First House. According to reports, Hagen suffered a cardiac arrest. Although life-saving measures were initiated immediately by health personnel, he could not be saved.

The RIMI Empire: He founded the discount grocery chain RIMI in the 1970s, which revolutionized the Norwegian retail market and formed the basis of his significant wealth.

Orkla ASA: He served on the board since 2004 and as Chairman since 2006. Under his leadership, Orkla transformed into a leading industrial investment company with a focus on consumer goods.
