Details of the Accident
According to the Louisiana State Police (Troop F), the incident occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Louisiana Highway 15, just north of Louisiana Highway 549 near Farmerville.
The Crash: Loggins was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima southbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. In an attempt to regain control, Loggins overcorrected to the left, causing the car to cross into the northbound lane and into the path of a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer.
Outcome: The Chevrolet struck the Nissan in the northbound lane. Loggins suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Injuries: The driver of the Chevrolet, who was properly restrained, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
