    Craig Allen Church (1957–2026) – Saxonburg: Passed away on April 17 at Butler Memorial Hospital. A retired member of Grace Community Church and an avid Green Bay Packers fan, he is survived by his wife, Connie Jo, and five children.

    Service: Visitation Tuesday, April 21, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg, with services following at 7:00 PM.

    Gary L. Fennell (1945–2026) – Chicora: Passed away peacefully on April 17 surrounded by family. He was a lifelong resident of the Butler area and a devoted family man.

    Kimberly “Kim” M. Van Laningham (1970–2026) – Butler: Passed away on April 15. She is remembered for her vibrant spirit and her dedication to her family and friends.

    Rosemary Moser (1932–2026) – Cabot: Passed away at her residence at Concordia Haven III on April 15. A Mass of Christian Burial is being planned.

    Dave Swaney (1960–2026) – Butler: Passed away on April 17 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was a service technician for Opta and a beloved grandfather known as “Bubba.”

    Regional News Note
    The Butler Eagle is also reporting on a tragic house fire in Mill Hall, PA, where a mother, Sarah Stolzfus (34), and her six children (ages 3 to 11) lost their lives in an explosion on April 20. The community has begun organizing support for the surviving family members.

    Memorial Services & Visitation
    Mary M. Wilson: Visitation will be held Saturday, April 25, at 2:00 PM at Millbrook Presbyterian Church, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.

    Alden “Bud” Hilliard: Private services were held for the family with military honors provided by the Officers of the Bantam Marine Corps League.

    Janice Robinson: Services were handled by the Spencer D. Geibel Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Butler.
